You indirectly confirmed Trukish's point. Sony didn't hype it, because their hype priorities were for the PS4. I also didn't buy it because of the PS4. I figured a remaster would happened, and then I lost interest.

Out of all the games so far that have seen ports or remasters, I thought GT6 would be one of them considering like others said, GT6 was out more or less at the same time as the PS4 console release. Would have made sense and you'd have thought it would have been a worthy investment for the Devs to make. It would have sold well enough I think. It would still sell well now in fairness if it was to come out.

I agree. It would of helped with strengthening the early line up. I'm not a fan of racing sims.

I said it was a mistake from the get go. But I think Sony was thinking that Driveclub would be there. Instead it was delayed, met bad launch issues and their launch window closed.

PS3 is still a very important format. Sells at up to 2x as much as wii u in Europe currently and that is in a ps3 saturated market. No doubt the PS3 will continue to sell for many years into South America, Africa etc. GT6 is an amazing game and doing good numbers.

Maybe the next version will be specially developed with Morpheus in mind so as more details of Morpheus are revealed we will get more Gran Turismo 7 details.

Gran Turismo is developed with a 'when its ready' approach to its release to ensure a good game with a lot of content. Yes commercially the timing could be better but from a gameplayer's perspective we should respect the fact that the release date is less important than the game itself.

I don't think releasing GT6 on PS3 was a mistake. If GT6 was for PS4, I would've had to buy a new racing wheel!

Frankly, I think we're all missing the fact that if PD had released what GT6 is, on the Ps4, the insurmountable amount of bitching (for not living up to the gen expectations) would've made Driveclub's reception seem like GOTY praise.

Obviously he means that he doesn't want GT to be a once every 2 years series, or annual if you include spin offs.
