This is like if Bioware released 2 versions for Mass Effect, one with Paragon path and the other with Renegade path.

Its stupid and it doesn't make sense.

Except from what we've seen the two paths actually seem pretty distinct from each other with unique characters interactions, storylines and scenarios so its not really like that at all.

Also, we don't know how it will be in the West...

EDIT: Removed comma

Nowhere near comparable.

1. Its most likely only japan (they done this beforewith games).

2. The Price is equivalent to $45 but with the other game as DLC its $15. Total is $60.

3. They aren't exact copies off each other, you can literally say they both are completely different games.

4. Lots of HH games in Japan go for ¥6000-¥7000 anyway, especially JRPGs.

5. It might cost us in the West $40 or even $50 which is well worth the price (comes with both games)

1. Doesn't change the fact that it's a dick move

2. Has that been confirmed? we don't know yet as far as I know, and either way what KingdomHeartsFan says it's true. Assuming there are no physical deals for both games (meaning it's only throw DLC) then some people will have to buy an extra SD card.

3. Wrong. Nintendo words from the direct: (not literal but close) "The world and the characters are the same, the Hoshiro path is like a traditional FE game, and the Norh path has a slightly (emphasis here) more complex story and more challenging." Nothing else was said. Sure, battles will be completely different, but that's probably it.

I highly doubt Nintendo will pull this shit on the West, the backslash will be HUGE.

The Japanese direct had prices.

1. It doesn't effect you, only japanese and i doubt they care as much when looking at that price (full game is 6600 yen, about avg for games and its 2)

2. Ok buy an SD card, every game takes memory

3. The games will be very different, battles being completely different means its a different game. Sooo?

4. If they did, the backlash wouldnt be huge at all, and they make even more sales if anything

Imagine the tone of this thread if this had been an EA move.

It really blows my mind how some can be very against DLC and be okay with this and Amiibo. Especially how Amiibo is going to work in Splatoon.

I would need to know more about this before I can reserve judgement. We still know very little on exactly how this is going to work.
