Nope, only Metroid can do that

Exactly this. But everything they showed today did leave me excited, at least. Lots of goodies for this year!

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

Not have totally close, but still! :D

what? Is there some typo? lol

No.

Don't get me wrong, the Direct as a whole was good, but for me they'll need to come up with better things than a couple dlc and trailers for very niche japanese games to make up for the Zelda delay.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

For me yes since I'm not a Zelda fan to begin with.

Pretty much this for me too.

Edit: Well, I do like Zelda, but not a super fan of it like most.

I wouldn't expect them to make up for such a large omission in their 2015 schedule during a Direct. That's the kind of business you get done at E3. That being said, this Direct really helped alleviate the annoyance that is April Fool's on the internet. It's nice to have something concrete to get excited about, rather than being wary of every piece of news that hits the Hot Topic section.

My highlights were the Yarn Yoshi Amiibo. Now that's just smart thinking, and a must buy for me. That'll make Amiibo number 3, assuming they don't offer some amazing deal on that 3 pack that's coming out with Splatoon. The VC N64/DS titles are also pretty cool. Mario Kart 200CC...yes! Now I'll really see how bad I suck at that game.

Most of the other info was either too Japan-centric for my tastes or just not especially compelling. The Indie reel was pretty good, but I still have a backlog in the Eshop.

Not really.
Star Fox better be damn good!
Still waiting for dat Paper Mario 5...
