TBH, i thought the last of us, and tomb raider remastered were way too early, they should atleast be 5 years old to have a remaster!

Why when they have an oppurtunity to bring in a bunch of xbox and wii owners that previously said "I really wanna play TLOU but I dont wanna buy a ps3"

It also means the entire series is kept on a single console, for the likely sequel.

KLX seems to think he has signed a contract whereby he must by all remastered games, little does he know is that you dont have to buy them, there are plenty of new games, and remasters are targeted actually at those who havent played them but want to. Nothing wrong with choice.

There is choice. Buy a PS3 and play all the PS3 games you want...

So why are you so against giving PS4 owners the choice too? Buy a PS3 cheap and play these games cheaper, or stick to your PS4, pay a little extra and get a slightly better version of the game. Again, it's about choice, and without GOW3, this summer would be pretty sparse on games. Now this summer, I have an even greater choice, and if be the case, I dont even have to consider GOW3, neither do you. But there are millions who will, and sony are catering to them

No one would buy a ps4 or a ps3 for just ''the last of us' also if they continue the game, make it a trilogy or 2 games then release it as a bundle, with the 2 games. Not 1 year after its release, idc what people say, but most Wii owners are on mobile, and yes i saw that chart that people from Wii went to ps4

Its not about choice. Its about Sony delivering a good reason to own a PS4. These Remasters do nothing to convince anyone of anything. People buy them because they have nothing else to play. ALOT of people are asking for a God Of War Collection instead of just God Of War 3 Remastered. Lets see what Sony does about that, eh? Probably release GOW3R, then GOWAR and then finally a GOW Collection. Its just about money, its not about choice.

LOL If people from the Wii switched to PS4 then I wonder why the sales aren't that bad for third party. Chances are because the majority of Wii owners last gen were a new market who doesn't generally game often.

True. You know what Nintendo did with Bayonetta 2? They gave us the first game for free with it.

It seems as though people who have a problem with remasters don't understand that you have a choice to.. not buy the game. There is no way i'm buying GOW3 remastered but I love that people who didn't have a PS3 last gen get to experience this hack and slash gem.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

The can on PSNow...

I feel games should only be remastered if they're old enough. It's difficult to give an exact age, but I would say at least 10 years. They should give an option to play the game with old or new controls (if necessary) and the graphics thingy that they do with the Halo remasters would be cool too. Only then a remaster is justified.

Exception is The Last of Us remastered. It released so late in the PS3 cycle that it would not be justified for people to buy a PS3 to play it.

Games like Sleeping Dogs or Saints Row IV remastered etc. should not happen.

Some people have higher quality expectations.

Well how about they make sure they get it right the first time?

Because many other people don't care about all these compromises as long as the games run on their outdated hardware they cling to. I hate this "one size fits all"-attitute of many console gamers.

And before you say "Then they shouldn't have release these games on the old hardware in the first place if they can't get it right": why can't there be two different groups? Some who are willing to play these crossgen titles on their old hardware with compromises and some who don't mind to spend a few bucks more Or wait a few months longer for an experience with less compromises?
