Ps4 got a bit of a boost with tlou release. The weekly ps4 sales have increased since sony perma-bundled tlou into ps4s.

Its not about choice. Its about Sony delivering a good reason to own a PS4. These Remasters do nothing to convince anyone of anything. People buy them because they have nothing else to play. ALOT of people are asking for a God Of War Collection instead of just God Of War 3 Remastered. Lets see what Sony does about that, eh? Probably release GOW3R, then GOWAR and then finally a GOW Collection. Its just about money, its not about choice. 


Ofcourse it is about money. They are a business at the end of the day. And 21 million PS4 owners beg to differ, seems to be there is a good reason to own a ps4, since many do in a year and 5 months

There were HUNDREDS of games released on the 7th generation of consoles and many of these games are good games.

Therefore, these remasters/ports simply open up opportunities for us to play the old games on our new consoles. In fact, I hope all 7th generation software gets the remaster treatment or simply get ported over to the 8th gen in order to have all games I would like to play available to me buy on my console of choice.


That actually made me depressed...

Gamers are so used to being screwed that they will actually defend the people screwing them. Its like an abused spouse.

True. You know what Nintendo did with Bayonetta 2? They gave us the first game for free with it.

One may not want to subscribe or not have a stable enough or strong enough internet connection, others have caps on their internet.

Remastered do not use a lot of resources, and you don't have to buy the game. It's like people are saying "Stop making me waste my money on remasters because I have to buy them" ..

What is wrong with people defending a product that has an appeal to a specific audience?
