mmmmm....no? The first two games would be a pain to update for the PS4 as they are so old, and assension is just meh. 3 was one of the best looking PS3 games and people really liked it. Not to mention that having a remaster will do more to hype people up for when they announce 4, which I assume will be sometime around the launch of this remaster.

They could have just put GOW3 on PS Now to add more incentive to the service. Instead they're making people spend more money if they want the full story.

But 3 was the best. :P

So you are telling me that they chose to update the game that could benefit the least from an update....Not sure why that is something to be proud of.

It also seems like a terrible value when you look at the fact that the PS3 collection with 1, 2, 3, GoS and CoO is less that 20$.

Yup, and they look like PS2 games. Sure they could have, but that woldn't really do anything to hype up the 4th game would it? Why is it money grabbing if a dev doesn't choose the absolute cheapest way to let people play their game?

There's 3 routes that could have been taken

1. Put GOW3 on PSNow

2. Remaster the collection from the PS3

3. Remaster GOW3

They chose the route that would bring the most money from consumers. Not very consumer friendly.

I'm not crazy about the idea but I have to admit, it looks really REALLY good. GoW3 was always considered and graphical masterpiece but this is even better.

I wonder if they will charge a full $60. I think $40 for it would be perfect, there are a ton of new Playstation fans that never got a chance to play GoW and it is so worth it.
