I personally do not feel that God of War series had enough replay value to justify $39.99 for just GOW3, we already had a collection that offerred a better value.

This is the best news for me so far this gen. So fucking pumped!!

Also delighted for all the converters from 360 to ps4 who get to play one of the best games ever now made even better!

It has something  to do with the games MSFT is releasing are ending up with positive reception.  Same goes to Nintendo.  Sony has had one game this gen with that kind of reception in InFamous


Going to appologize for going off topic here, but that's not really true...discounting indies and remasters, the PS4 has Guilty Gear, Infamous, and MLB 14 that all have pretty good reviews. The Xbox One has S.O., Forza 5, and Horizon 2.... that's going off of Playstation, or Xbox exclusives.

If you add remasters and indies, Sony has TLOU, Resogun, OlliOlli 2, Flower, Velocity 2X, Helldivers, The Unfinished Swan, and Soundshapes.

Microsoft has, MCC, #idarb, and Kalimba.

The PS4 lineup is doing just fine.

Edit: removed LBP3, it has a 79 on metacritic. Still enough to count as good reviews, but sticking to a hard 80 or above seems like a cleaner way to go about it.

Why just GOW3? If there's people who never played the series wouldn't they be better off with a collection instead of just the ending?

I think I actually just figured it out, GOW 3 is the only one not on PS Now. I'd bet money on that being the reason.

 

Edit: or should I say, the only home console one that isn't on PS Now.

because of all the 360 fans now on PS, this is an easy cash grab for them for all those that missed a great games last gen.

So they went the cash grab route instead of just adding a game to PS Now?

A lot of people were surprised by how many PS4 owners never played the Last of Us. Chances are they are the 360 owners who came back to Playstation. Remember a lot of them switched to 360 after the PS2 era when Sony dropped the ball and slowly came back at the end of the generation.

Don't worry the 360 converters to ps4 can catch up with ps now.  While people like me will double dip on one of the best games ever.  

 

This week was a bad week for gaming but I'm ecstatic now!  So pumped.
