Buy Bloodborne or The Order instead then.

Flower, just like Journey which will also get a PS4 release, is a part of those games Sony is putting on everything. You can't compare what they did to Flower to what they did with for example TLOU. That's what I think anyway. I agree with you on the rest, it's not really a big deal. Sony remastered tons of PS2 games last gen (Sly, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, SoTC and Ico, GoW
etc.) so it's not like this is a new thing. Personally, even though I am a Sony fan, I still don't think the PS4's current library is enough to justify me buying a PS4, which is why I haven't bought one yet, but I'm pretty sure it will eventually get the games I want (R&C is coming, I think they're gonna do the same with Sly as with Ratchet, reboot it to coincide with the movie, and Horizon looks amazing) and of course 3rd party support.
This thread made me a bit dissapointed in VGC though, it went so bad so fast.

By the way, kinda funny how noone says port anymore, now it is a remaster. Makes it sound classier
Sony is being smart! These remasters give all those 360 and wii gamers from last gen yet another reason to pick PS4. They get to try games they missed last gen, fans get a better/remastered version, and Sony get more profits and increase awareness/interest in their next game. I say keep them keep them coming! It's win win for everyone as long as they keep the new stuff coming too.
As a collector the PS4 is turning into quit the machine

Exactly, and people make the mistake of thinking these remasters are 'instead of' when what they are is really 'as well as'.

So those games aren't also the highest rated X1 games as well? I must have missed some releases, my bad

It has something to do with the games MSFT is releasing are ending up with positive reception. Same goes to Nintendo. Sony has had one game this gen with that kind of reception in InFamous
