I don't know I couldn't do what I did in InFamous last gen and Killzone Shadowfall didnt play nor look like part three. Halo MCC is amazing...I forgot how amazing this franchise was with a new CG storyline for Halo 2 andnew fully remastered versions of the games. The hype is real for me for Halo 5 now. Ori and Blind Forest is beautiful and Nintendos games are always Nintendos games. I had fun just like always with them. it never changes and personally maybe its best that they stay that way because the familiarity is nice when you have upgrades. Its nice to play Nintendo games just for fun with friends even though it can create a sligh competitive streak. Is Nintendo your only console or do you have another platform?

Up until very recently I had a PS3 and 360; both have fallen victim to my little brother pulling them apart to "fix" them and rendering them totally inoperable as opposed to just partially functional.

I'm gonna be brutally honest, I found Shadowfall awful, as well as Titanfall, Knack, Driveclub, Wonderful 101, Dead Rising 3, Destiny, Watch Dogs, LittleBigPlanet 3, Smash Bros 4... there's been a few gems this gen, but for the most part it's been an avalanche of disappointment for me.

Perhaps you're growing out of a lot of styles of games that you might ones have liked. Ever thought of trying new genres? probably on PC?

I still find myself liking a lot of those same genres though; I disliked Wonderful 101, but loved Bayonetta 2. I disliked LBP3, but loved Rayman Legends, Mario 3D World, and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. I hated Watch Dogs, but enjoyed Assassin's Creed 4.

PSXtreme huh. Seems legit.

I suppose the author is entitled to his own preference, even if his way of stating it is more than a little obnoxious.

Ben Dukta has no credibility whatsoever. Go there and have an opinion diverging from his and defend it, or even better, make it obvious that the way he thinks is ridiculous... You're up for some pretty good fun. xD This guy is full of himself and masturbates to his own shit. It's actually kind of funny. xD

PSXextreme is basically a big circle jerk of like minded lobotomized fanboys

Nintendo has its ups and downs. NES and SNES were both great consoles. N64 and Gamecube both sucked. Wii and DS were amazing. 3DS has been fairly good, but not DS Lite awesome. Wii U has been bland so far since the only great game on it in its first 3 years is Mario Kart 8. It still doesn't even have Mario or Zelda yet, unless you count ports and spinoffs.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

PS4 having more games of greater diversity than the Wii-U?

As of right now I can't agree with that.

this is how the Nintendo life cycle works

kids = love Nintendo
early teens = love Nintendo secretly but pretend they prefer mainstream games,
teens = all about main stream games.
late teens to mid 20s = Nintendo is for kids why would I go back I LOVE COD.
late 20s = sick of the same superficial shit. sick of fanboy wars. Just plays games they like on any system.
30s+ = fuck i'm too old for this shit and can only play one console. Have kids ill go back to Nintendo games cause my "kids" love Nintendo not me honestly it isn't me lol.

Ah, the astounding arrogance of Nintendo freaks. "Nintendo is the only way to game and if you don't like their stuff, you don't really like gaming in general. Mature games are bland and soulless, only colorful platformers and endless reiterations of the Nintendo staples are acceptable fun?"
Where do you get off defining what fun is and what games are good enough to be enjoyed? Listen to yourselves. Really. There's a reason most people outgrow Nintendo and move on. Everyone is not like you. Accept it and stop being obnoxious about it. Enjoy your games and let others enjoy theirs, whatever they might be.

this whole concept of "grown up" games really escapes me. I picked up a wii-u and a ps4 and i have to say that, so far, i'm digging the wii-u more. Don't get me wrong i really liked evil within, and i loved shadow of mordor. I just never stopped mid game to say "man this game is so grown up! i'm so glad it's rated m for mature!" Other than those 2 games i think the ps4 has a fairly lackluster library. I've been fairly unimpressed with the order, killzone 4, watchdogs, destiny and by far the biggest disappointment; evolve. I keep finding myself going back to smash bros and mario kart, and ive found the bayonetta games and wonderful 101 far more entertaining than most of the competition.
So yeah, i really don't care if a games rated m for mature or e for everyone. If a game is good a game is good, and a rating has absolutely no impact on that. My 2 most anticipated coming soon titles; mortal kombat x and splatoon. :)

People are quick to point out PS4 has lackluster library than Wii U. Lol. PS4 has more games than Wii U (and PS4 is in market less time than Wii U). Wii U is in the market for more than 2 years and PS4 is 1 year. Try comparing Wii U's first year games with PS4. After PS4 passes 2 year please start comparing.

Reading his comment, I think he means in terms of quality, not quantity.
