I think its a very rare ocassion that a PS3 title makes it in the top 5 of the US american chart. and hardly a dozen title have done so for PS3... mostly the american US chart is devoid of any red (playstation) title.

So is this game favourite enough to make a debut in Top 5.? and if so at which number.?

I am not sure how popular baseball game is. To me personally, those game are hardly a sim, when they didn't show the biggest part of baseball, steroid use. ;)

Instead of 'training' your player, you should be able to just use some in-game money and buy steroid and be done with it.

If the numbers don't drop considerably from last year it definetly has a chance at making the top 5.

I don't think the PS3 version has a chance at making the top 5 however. It might make the top 10. Sales should be up from last years release, due to larger install base, but I wouldn't expect more then 65k first week sales.

No, he's saying that if the Wii sells a lot, it could boost software, this displacing Sony games from the top 5 (hint, look at this week's American charts, sky high Wii sales, 4 games in the top 5).

I hate baseball, and I hate baseball games. However, I hope this sells well, to the fans of the series, because I hear its got quality development. I won't be purchasing it though, and to me, it's a parody of the current PS3 blockbuster lineup.
