What's fun about platformers? Boring as hell. Unless you're 7.

Last time I checked I was 21, not 7!

Pfft, that's "risk takers" for ya...

The reality Is most of us playstation fans that
Loved crash have grown up and mainly play mature games now. Hell even kids nowadays do. The only reason we want it so bad is nostalgia. It would be epic to get a once off reboot.

... Not that Uncharted or TLOU are bad, far from it. But I'd take Jak and Dexter and Crash over them every time.

I have to agree with 'em on it and I'm glad that they are thinking like this. If Naughty Dog is serious about that then they could end up selling that IP off.

Not surprising. Third parties determine the audience of Sony systems and Sony just follow suit with their studios and make games for that audience.

I wish they would ignore everything except for the last of us.

WTF!?!? Jak's story was awesome. WHAT THE FUCK ND!?

Maybe they don't wanna make fun games anymore.

They're taking themselves too seriously. Seriously though, fuck you too ,ND.

7 year olds play COD, not platformers.

Well to bad. Because their realistic games especially Uncharted4 are totally in the "uncanny valley" for me.
(Why UC4? Because its the most realistic looking one and therefore suffers the most from looking "completely fake")

The game tries so hard to look realistic but then the world geometry fucks up all of their effort.

And no dont try to prove me wrong with night shots + moonlight and also dont focus on some mountains in the far distance.. Look at "day" scenes and how blocky everything in front of you is.

You have to move with the market, and the games ND make now are what the majority want.

That being said, I would like there to be one final Jak game on PS4. Another dev could lead the project and ND could guide it where needs be. Open world, guns, hoverboards, hovercars - the franchise has aspects that would appeal to a wider audience outside of the platforming.
