1998 was pretty great, for Nintendo and the entire industry: Ocarina, 1080, Rogue Squadron, Banjo-Kazooie, F-Zero X, Turok 2, Body Harvest, Tetris DX, etc.

2000, with Perfect Dark, Banjo-Tooie, Excitebike 64, and Majora's Mask, is pretty great too. Same goes for 1994.

2010, if Xenoblade is counted, is damn impressive also.

I still need to play many of the 2013 games before I can properly evaluate that year, but A Link Between Worlds alone makes it worth mentioning.

That's an all-star lineup of SNES games right there! A pair of the greatest 2D platformers, RPGs, and fighting games of all time are in that lineup.

The best for me are '98, '94, and 2002 in that order. Worst is a tossup between 2011/2012 for me. 2005 gets an honorable mention, pretty much nothing going on that year except for RE4 and MK DS.

Absolute worst year is 2009 unrivaled. I'm serious; look closely!

And too many good years to point out just one.

I didn't think 2009 was that bad; there was Silent Hill Shattered Memories, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Punch-Out, Dead Space Extraction, House of the Dead Overkill, Wii Sports Resort... 

Yes, it wasn't a bad year, but it was the most "meh" one compared to all the rest.

NSMB, Wii Sports Resort, Spirit Tracks, and Bowser's Inside Story were Nintendo's biggest titles and they were all pretty much average, with 2D Mario barely nailing the upper edge.

That list just convinced me that I should seriously consider it for worst year :)

But each to their own.
