It's too useless... Nintendo don't like to make expensive movie-like games such as The Last of Us, Uncharted, God of War etc... No way, they can't afford huge budget on professional developers, let Samsung buy Playstation Brand, that's good example.

Actually Nintendo can afford to make games like that... they are just frugal aka cheap as heck and aim for a different demographic usually closer to home (Japan and families in general). They have a number of franchises that could easily be movie-like or feature realistic characters (Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Metriod, etc.) but aside from the Legend of Zelda franchise and Metriod during the Prime era, the company really doesn't want to invest in such as they are riskier and personal tastes of the main guys in charge.

Nintendon't like to compete in red oceans but in this scenario, would be buying the red sea, capice me?  Ninty would simply take over what sony was already doing (why tf else would they buy the PS brand, to try and become the all-around market VG king).

Ok, i give up lol Oh well, gotta buy Nes Remix Pack 3DS & Captain Toad Wii U...

Is Nintendo still worth more than Sony as a whole? I havnt checked in a while.

As for the OT, Sony as a whole is worth about the same as Nintendo but the Playstation brand is their most successful branch lately. Nintendo could offer but would be denied immediately.

Now on the other hand, if Sony continued to make more losses and were forced to sell off their brands, other companies can offer more than Nintendo but Japan doesnt like to put their companies in the hands of foreigners.

Not even in a million years, man!

Stop saying Nintendo could not buy Playstation. If you do research, they are making money now AND come on, with the Wii and the DS last gen? They have money for years. Stop saying they are "dying" Nintendo is not going anywhere.

As of right now, Wii U is. Also, Nintendo has been making more money than last year and Sony has been losing money. A LOT.
