Well I'd assume that any difference between critic score and user score is mostly due to trolls.  But then again, the difference between 33.3 and 45% on such tiny sample sizes isn't that meaningful so I could see the Vita, WiiU, and 3DS just being within margins of error for one another.  The only obvious outlier is Xbone and PS4 which is how Nintendo can use this comparison to look like they're comparing they're two platforms to the three of the competition when it's really just two versus one getting them 19 to 8.  

That seems to be the case. You often see some complain about the absence of Nintendo in X1 vs PS4 topics, wether it's a forum thread or a news article.

Then the theory that some in here are shouting loud & clear: "After all Nintendo is not discriminated against by the gaming media" falls flat, if good reviews proves gaming media don't hate Nintendo, a contrario, as you put it: without user score Vita has 21 games over 85 while the 3DS has only 19games over 85, so the gaming must in fact hate Nintendo.

To end my train of thoughts, so many are being said in here that you can spin anything in any way that you want, there is always someone to remind you that everything is not black or white, but painted in infinite shades of grey. Too much importance is being given to a PR print that nevertheless remaining true is nothing more than a PR print, just because it's Nintendo!

There are more important & erronous behaviours that gamers should take issue with in the gaming industry, especially looking at the last year of game releases & other hick-ups, rather than petty attitudes 'cause of Nintendo trying to sell their oustanding 1st party titles.

Since Nintendo made that print, scores have changed, Luigi's Mansion has seen its user score go down & doesn't match anymore the criteria, & vice-versa for Vita/PS games.

If they had done only retail exclussives and only critic scores, it wouldn't have been remotely fair. 

Retail Exclussives with 85 Metacritic rating or higher from critics:  Wii U+3DS=18  Xbox One+PS4+Vita=7 (Wii U=6, 3DS=12, Xbox One=3, PS4=1, Vita=3)

And if we add in user scores (same metric as they originally used):

Retail Exclussives with 85 Metacritic rating or higher from both critics and users:  Wii U+3DS=13  Xbox One+PS4+Vita=4 (Wii U=6, 3DS=7, PS4=1, Xbox One=0, and Vita=3)

I said it before, I'll say it again, Nintendo wins every single way you slice it, full stop.  They picked their own way of displaying it because it sounded better, but they come out on top in this.  So yeah, only epic fail here is your attempt at downplaying.

Nintendo games aren't downvoted, so obviously Sony and MS gamers didn't troll them. Sony and MS games are however, which has to do with them downvoting each other, but that could very well include Nintendo trolls.
