Ive been reading alot of threads and posts on the interwebz lately things like UC4 doesnt look as good as E3, SF and Tomb Raider will remain console exclusives and posters still waiting to see a WiiU sales surge but what i havent been reading about is that XB1 is going to take stealthy take over the world. To fully understand the magnitude of this we have to look at the past few months.
MS announced the Xb1 in 2013 with huge backlash about always online, no used games, and forced kenict for $500, once the console was released launch games were running at 900p and in some cases 720p. it was also revealed that the consoles GPU was much weaker than the PS4s and for the same price sales plummeted soon after initial launch. sales were so bad that even with titanfall which was praised to be the best FPS of this generation and the drop of kenict later on it still wasnt able to beat the PS4 not even in its home territory which is embarrassing.
Until recently when MS decided to go back to the drawing board pricing the XB1 under the PS4 these tactics we have seen before it was last gen where the 360 dominated the PS3 almost to its death. the results were simply outstanding outselling the PS4 in US 100% confirmed with the press release aswell as in the UK, what will slowly follow will be nothing less than global domination for those that dont know UK is part of EU the other regions will follow. even if the epidemic doesn spread it wont need to the US ans Uk represent the biggest gaming markets both of those regions can overtake any sales advantage the PS4 has in the dozens of other regions. not only that but the XB1 will have killer exclusives releasing next year next Gears(a genre Sony still has nothing to compete with) Halo5 (yet another genre sony has nothing for) Rise of TR (a once sony exclusive lost forever) Fable legends, Crackdown, Quantum Break and Cuphead. As you can see its pretty stacked for next year as there are many others that i have not listed as well as the usual 3rd partys. not only has MS made improvements in the price and games department they have made strides in the technical department in the HW itself with FW updates that dropped kenict and freed up valuable processing power which has considerably closed the gap to the PS4 games
With all this happening sony has just sat back and showed us a couple of indie games and gained console exclusiveness to some fighting game. Sony just arent as competive in gainig market share as MS is there not gonna do nothing to stop or even slow the upcoming XB1 onslaught, they just dont have the backbone or wallet. just look at last gen when the PS3 was down and out did sony ever do anything to compete with price? what about the HW itself the ps3s slow and boring interface and menu's ever change? how about the online? no zip nada there online infrastructure was so weak it managed to get hack and consumers personal IDs were stolen. there price was never competiive with the 360 299 in 2009 to little to late and they never offered any holiday bundles that could compete with the 360s 2 free games deals we saw ever yr the same things we are seeing now.
With all of MS improvments the consumers have spoken for Nov. the chioce was clear for them.. the choice was XB1, and with MSs continued attack for 2015 the biggest exlusives games, more price cuts and bundles the choice will be XB1... Worldwide
