Now if it keeps goig like this, MS may sell almost as much consoles as Sony on a global level (USA is not the world) this is mainly happening because Japan does not seem to be bying consoles anymore, not a lot anyway which is sad because they made the modern gaming industry. Japan used to sell more consoles than EU!

This seems improbable :p If the combined effect of major bundles, promotions, the MCC and a significant price cut weren't enough to pull the X1 even close to inning a month WW, it's unlikely it will ever manage to do it consistently enough to close the current (and growing) gap.

This also doesn't account for the fact that Sony still have their price-cut card at hand. The X1's aforementioned inability to win WW was against a console with almost the same entry price it launch with. It Sony were to cut it by $50 the X1 would have an even hard time.

On a side note, cherry picking is a poor platform to build an argument. Why mentions titles like QB, Halo and Gears, but downplay Sony's offerings (1886, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, God of War etc) as "a couple of indie games and gained console exclusiveness to some fighting game". Doing thing like that gives the impression you're trying to push an agenda. Not saying you are, but that's what it implies. Seeing as it's not something i can remember seeing you do before, i'm inclined to believe this is a joke thread :p

Appropriate in regards to my own personal opinion. Not meaning to come off as a hater. The One has owned the US the month of November.. if the price drop sticks (after Jan 1st) I'm sure it will continue. Although I believe it will most likely run side by side with the PS4 in the US, and obviously 2nd WW. IMO.

They had to almost literally set money on fire to win the month, and it's an unsustainable business model. What happens when the price goes back up and Sony has their inevitable price drop?

They're thin on exclusives, and when they do score a third party exclusive, it's a relative flop like SO or Tomb Raider vs Bloodborne and Street Fighter.

I want to know who made the most profit in the past month.
