Disingenuous.............

Okey doke. It's not gonna be anything like WW. Just saying.

The 'entire internet' just looks for an excuse to bash anything Nintendo.

Seriously, this is not spaced out like WW:

Yes, it is, and Link being on what would have been an island in Wind Waker doesn't disprove that.

Dozens and dozens of islands that stretch as far as the horizon like the hills, mountains, buildings, rivers, and forests do here?

Zelda U is nowhere even close to being empty as WW.

That's just better draw distance from more powerful hardware and a different elevation. That has nothing to do with how close they are to each other. You can be on one side of a reletively small (real life) lake and not be able to see what's on the other side, but be able to see for miles further if you're elevated. Link is in this. Most of the scenery is either down hill or above the horizon line.

This is what the gap between islands looks like in WW:

We have not seen a single area of Zelda U even close to as empty and featureless. Not one.

Yes, we have. Like I said, draw distance and elavation plays a roll in how far you can see. You aren't seeing nearly as far in that picture as your seeing in Zelda U, and it's all dressed more diversely, which is just an aesthetic trick. It would take seconds to sail from that raft, to that boat, to that watch tower to that closest island. It being dressed with water instead of grass and trees doesn't change that.

There is no way in hell Zelda U will be anywhere near as empty as WW. Why is this even being argued?

It's not just trees and grass though; hills, mountains, buildings, water, wildlife, all of which present gameplay as well as aesthetic variation.

Seriously, show me these big  empty areas of Zelda U. The area close to link in the e3 shot has people, goats, 2 houses, a forest, a well...

Hills don't change gameplay, and there is wildlife in Wind Waker's ocean. It would take minutes for Link to travel to the forest in that picture and, as we can see here:

It still doesn't change the gameplay. Giant forest. There's lake on one side. I think I saw a little house. That's it in the immediate area. Nothing for minutes.

I couldn't get better puctures because there aren't many screen shots of that video.
