To the complainers of the ease of WW: Easy games sell well, but Nintendo has usually provided a harder challenge for those who want it: Hero mode?
I loved Wind Waker, the sailing was a bit tedious but it was a part of what made Windwaker believable. It was a cartoony game with so many believable elements which is the genius of its design and Zelda U seems to be no different. I see there being easy ways to make warp points and flying animals as well. If Epona is the only way of travel then it will take a bit too much time to travel the field as Anouma said: 5min to get to that destination. I'm hopeful for the game. We haven't seen much of the gameplay yet nor have we seen really anything, for people to analyze something like this out of a few minutes is kinda oblivious.

Except there looks to be far more terrain variatiom in Zelda U than there were islands in WW.
I found traveling in WW largely unengaging...
There is the potential for that not to be the case in Zelda U...
I have considered, however, that they might fluff this up somehow...
I still think it's too early to say for sure though...
Have a nice day...

Of course there is. The map can fit more, but it also seems to be spaced out just as much as the is;ands in WW were, or people wouldn't be complaining that the world looks "empty." I, of course, don't think it looks empty at all, but I also didn't think WW's ocean was empty.

Looks far less spaced out from what little we've seen, much less empty space.

Looks just as spaced out from what I, and the entire internet, has seen, as people are either criticizing it's emptiness, or creating excuses for why it seems empty.

The 'entire internet' just looks for an excuse to bash anything Nintendo.
Seriously, this is not spaced out like WW:

I listened to Goo Goo Dolls "Bulletproof" while traveling the seas. I has no issues with the game.
Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.
If you liked any Zelda game you will like ZeldaU.They are all the same minus a few differences in art direction.
