If the games were any good, yeah it would make me consider getting an X1.

I don't see it at all. Only a couple of Rare's franchises are suited for the main xbox crowd, Killer Instint and Perfect Dark come to mind. Even if they start making great games again, most of their IPs belong to genres not that succesfull on Xbox consoles.
Banjo and Conker are platformers, and the best selling platformers on the 360 (in retail) are the Lego games. Name alone won't move the new costumers to purchase the games.
Battletoads, Kameo and JFG are not big franchises, and they wouldn't attract mayor success even with Microsoft fully advertising them.
Viva Piñata, while possibly succesfull, wouldn't be enough to carry the company.
Kineckt sports is usually rejected because Kineckt.
Well, I already kinda prefer the X1 a bit more than the PS4! Rare making games tha tare at least good would simply be the icing on the cake..

On that I agree, help to lower the gap a little. To tip the balance for X1 to win rare would have to pass it peaks, include the nd and Nintendo achievements.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."
Nope. Because DKC is still only on WiiU.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
I have never been a big fan of RARE to be honest... Weren't they on the N64? it lost badly to the PS1 back in the day, I don't think they matter that much anymore.
I'd take the current Naughty Dog over golden era Rare any day. That being said, there isn't any studio that could lift the XBOne to top spot as far as I'm concerned but the return of Rare (to glory) would solidify the XBOne's place as my second choice.
It depends on what they do I guess. I would like another Banjo
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
Without the Stamper Bros., Rare won't return to anything.
Though with this being all hypothetical and what not, Rare returning to its heyday would mean I had my first reason to get any of the two consoles.
