Forums - Sales Discussion - ioi's preliminary Black Friday week estimates (W.E 29th Nov)

Xbox One is doing amazing on Amazon, including Cyber Monday. They have been #1 at least the past two days (didn't check before that). The Ps4 Destiny Bundle is all the way at #41 with other bundles lower down the list. What is the reason for nobody buying a PS4? Did everybody already buy their PS4, or does the US just prefer the Xbox right now?

PS4 Black Friday bundle is out of stock. Destiny bundle is not discounted. XB1 is $329.

That must be it! Thanks! Still, Xbox is gaining a lot of the US market even it has to be at a discount.

Oh, its a pretty good way to track sales for online games, but it can have huge disparity in tracked sales vs real sales for single-player, or primarily single-player games. Anyways sir, since you are very much reading this post please look into this article:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-06-05-god-of-war-series-has-sold-over-21-million-copies

According to this official sales data, the entire God Of War series has been heavily undertracked on VGC, and this article dates back to 5th June, 2012. It would be nice if you could adjust the sales, and add your own estimates for sales which occured after May 31, 2012 (the date till which these numbers have been counted).

I think you might mean over tracked. According to VGC all GoW game sales add up to slightly over 23 million sold, and that's not accounting for digital sales, which VGC doesn't track.

Oh and TYPO!! LMFAO "21,650,595 Gears of War games have been sold, to be exact."

Nice xbox one comeback, expect gap to be more than 150k in US

Nice comeback? They're down 7 MILLION units! lol Save the "nice comeback" comments for the time they actually, you know, come back?

I said wrong then, nice turn around? going from death to relevant

I don't even think they're relevant world wide. I mean, have you seen year to date sales? But, I really don't care. It just gets annoying imo. Whether it's MS,Sony or Nintendo fanboys... it's ANNOYING. It's like, just play your games and chill lol.

No dude, read the figures published by Sony, it is God Of War.

And as I said, the figure dates back to May 31, 2012. So it does not include sales of God Of War: Ascension or Saga, or the sales of other games in the series which continued to sell. God Of War III was never released on PS Store.

Where are Vita sales???????? :(

Yea I don't think Sony cares right now cause they're so far ahead losing November and December is no big deal. They will probably wait and see if MS raises the prise back if not they'll probably do a price drop next year to.
