Forums - Nintendo - Are you enjoying Bayonetta 2?

Tagging this thread. Still on the fence on buying it, and I'd like to read more impressions.

Hell yes!!! I havn't had this much fun in a while and I loveeeeeee action games such as bayonetta! The combos, the bosses, the smoothness and the scenarios are just all so wonderful! They really have out done themselves compared to bayonetta 1!

Is there any stage of driving like Route 666 in the original? I swear I never got the Platinum trophy in this stage, despite being one of the most easy u.u

Yeaa! You drive a motor cycle but god damn it, its a pain imo. I died like 3 times cause i goofed on the qtes T_T

Finished it the day before yesterday; it was one of the best games I have played in years.
The fast, fluid, and deep combat, the playful and outrageous sense of humor, the over the top set pieces, it's just a spectacular piece of entertainment.

Beating my head into a wall on Infinite Climax.

The game is simply amazing, start to finish, and even the frame rate drops don't seem to take away from the fluid feel of the combat and its responsiveness. Wicked Weaves really tank the frame rate but you're pretty much invulnerable and enemies stagger for everything so it ends up working out fine, otherwise the frame rate in normal combat is definitely in the 50s and feels fine.

I'd only complain about how easy Triple Climax was, but Infinite has more than made up for that.

Sadly I haven't bought it yet.
I will around christmas though (hopefully)!

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Sounds like I'm going to die as well, lol. I'm already addicted to the first game again, Bayonetta 2 will need to wait unfortunately :(

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Yes, it has frame rate issues, if the demo has them, the full game should as well. They're not hard though, I'm assuming it will be similar to the original Bayonetta in terms of performance, so I'm ok :)
