Forums - Nintendo - Are you enjoying Bayonetta 2?

I have it still on the plastic wrap, but i played the demo before i bought it. Havent had the time to play, but they fixed the issues i had with the first game, so i am sure i will enjoy it.

playing through the first game at the moment so i haven't played the sequel yet but i am really enjoying the first one.

Fucking yes, Bayo 2 was glorious. I was so happy that they dumped the insta-death bullshit from the first one. After replaying the first one the only things I think were done better in Bayo 1 were the boss fights (much grander and more memorable) and the lead up to the final boss.

I was doing a writeup about Bayonetta 2. If you haven't played the series yet, start with the first game. Bayonetta 1 was the best in the genre. If you play Bayonetta 2 then go to Bayonetta 1, the original will feel unplayable in comparison.

Bayonetta 2 is so good it makes the former best in genre's combat feel like sh*t in comparison.

Loved it, easily my GOTY for this year. Haven't had that much fun playing games in a long time. It was quite an improvement over the first game in almost every area, so it's been hard to replay the first game. Good stuff, highly recommend it.

I've had the same issue, Hyrule Warriors is so damn addictive, adventure mode has been taking over my life lol, and i haven't even considered the DLC. I have put myself on a Hyrule warriors ban for a few days so i could get into Bayonetta 2, it hasnt disapointed.

Hyrule Warriors is awesome, I purchased the DLC I enjoyed it so much. It is very challenging on Hero difficulty. I haven't even tried the adventure mode yet, is it that good?

Adventure mode is when the game really comes to life in my opinion, so many secrets, weapons, upgrades and unlockable characters. There is a bit of grinding, but its so rewarding fully levelling up your characters.

Bayonetta is the game of the year. Whether you like or not u have to deal with it.

I bought it first day, but have only had a chance to play a bit of the first one. I'm sure I'll love it though. I have it waiting for me until I finish other games... Too many at once.
