Didn't Nintendo have a higher market cap than Sony earlier this year? Where do they stand now?

It seems that investors still see a higher potential in Sony in spite of their current financial situation.

And sony have many healthy divisions in their business. Music, TV, movies, gaming, medical, insurance.
Its only electronics where they fail. And that is why I think Samsung should buy sony then drop sony electronics, therefore all of sony's divisions can benefit from samsungs vast library of electronic expertise.

Last time I checked.......movies made a small loss.

If Samsung bought Sony, it wouldn't be long until the Sony name is dropped. XD.

Actually they are a global corporation with head branches in every region. Sony is far from doomed or bankrupt. If anything they will simply cut costs and remove the devisions that cost them money. Which won't exactly be hard since they are making money in every other sector.

Sony is pretty darn close to bankruptcy... Especially if they continue to bleed money like this. Quite frankly I want it to happen so I can have a ball... the entire industry would suffer but Japanese third party would have no choice but to work with nintendo so its a win/win for me :)

Sony could just keep on selling assetts for a few decades and still not be completely bankrupt...
