IMO, FFV has better graphics. Colors make everything better, and those sprites are wonderful. The background here is amazing, and the characters really stand out:

But FF VII wasn't very colorful either, and the subsequent games were an improvement.

I agree with LemonSlice and NiKKoM. Something about that colorful world that just looks way more enjoyable. Maybe that is why I am still in love with Nintendo. They haven't forgotten that there is color in the world.

No, but don't expect it in 2015, early 2016 seems verly likely. The demo is coming March 2015.

If they didn't, they'd be complaints from abandoning their roots.

Also, FFV sucks very badly. Not sure how people can talk kindly about and then trash recent games that are way better.

Garula was an FF5 exclusive enemy so that's pretty cool for it to return. I imagine it's because Nomura did the monster designs for FF5.

Maybe it is an opinion? I mean I think VIII, X and XIII are utterly horrible, but I don't typically defer from many people liking it....anymore. (Given if anyone ever presented me an argument about Squall personality being the best, I might hit them. 

Also the reason why FFV is loved is typically for the job system and combat system.
