IMO, FFV has better graphics. Colors make everything better, and those sprites are wonderful. The background here is amazing, and the characters really stand out:
I would love to see another completely fantastical FF like IX, or the still very fantastical XII.

But FF VII wasn't very colorful either, and the subsequent games were an improvement.
