Comes out same day, and it's Xenblade Chronicle Definitive Version.

Anyways, it's $150 or $180, depending on what size you're getting. And it comes out somewhere from February to April.

You do realize that the New 3DS will be $150 and release this February to April?

But New 3DS XL is somewhere from $170 to $180. I'll be getting this to go with Mii Original 3DS.

Not year one. Still miffed about the whole thing, and Xenoblade won't be enough when I can just play the better version on the Wii U/Wii.

If other noteworthy games become exclusive like MM, Z, and a some other remake, then sooner.

I will eventually down the line. I'm digging the faster download speeds on it, which is pretty useful. However, I won't get one for at least a few months after it launches.

The Wii version was pure cell-shaded graphics too.

The 3DS has a 1 GHz GPU underclock at 400 MHz while the Wii version is made for a 243 MHz GPU of the Wii.

Plus the 3DS has more then 50 shader cores and does more open world then PS3/360 as shown with pure polygon graphics traveling at 100 mph in Lego City Undercover.

I don't know why you say Wii is superior. I mean even in polygon count, the 3DS does 120 million VS. the Wii 30 million.

Since it's not truly the next generation of Nintendo handhelds, I think I'll wait to get it. At least until an exclusive comes out for it that I really, really want.

Never had a 3DS and the line up is pretty great. I just don't enjoy gaming on a handheld. I'd prefer a '3DS player' for the Wii U or HDMI out.

I wont say never as that completely depends on the software presented... but if whats in offer is Wii ports, then i dont see any need to buy it.

The New 3DS XL has a bigger screen then the original 3DS XL.

And the 3D effect makes the screen look even way bigger.

And the New 3DS (XL) further enhances the 3D effect, which will make the screen look even bigger then that. Can't wait for Super Mario Galaxy 3D to be release as a New 3DS exclusive.
