I don't have a 3DS at the moment so probably yes. The main draw is actually the improved viewing angle because I do enjoy the 3D effect buts its too troublesome to maintain.

I'm surely gonna get one at one point, but there's no way in hell I'm buy it this year. I don't trust Nintendo, they may still have another redesign coming, so I'd rather wait. It's not like there are that many great games on it still coming out.

Really hate the fact that it will have exclusive games.
I bought the 3ds to play its games, meaning its exclusives.All of them.But hey....I'm out of luck.

It's kind of a dick move isn't it? It's like releasing The Last of Us: Remastered and then releasing a story DLC only for that, one that ps3 coulldn't handle.

Unless they make really attractive exclusive games for New3DS, no. And I'm not sure 3rd parties would take the risk to cut themselves from the 3DS install base. I would have to get one if they make an exclusive Fire Emblem, though...

I'll be getting one. Despite what some people seem to think that the New 3DS will be like the DSi where it won't have that many new games, this is pretty much a new console and Nintendo is going to push it as such. They're going to create new content only playable on this device that they know a lot of the more gamer focused fans who own the original are going to want.

If they release a successor to the New 3DS that isn't an upgrade, then I won't get it. I'm buying the XL and that's going to be it until Nintendo announces their newest handheld hardware.

I'll probably be buying it later down the line. I really want to play X even though I have it on the Wii already :P.

i would love to play xenoblade on a portable but it's not enough for me to buy the new 3ds. i wait until there are some more solid exclusives and a nice priced bundle

Okay, a while back, I'd read $150 for N3DS and $180 for N3DS XL. Do we have confirmation of this?

A 3DS XL is still $320 in the UK.

Day 1 for me and i think will be getting both sizes of the new model.

Currently have a 2DS and a 3DS, so multiplayer requirements are satisfied. No need for a New 3DS yet.
