I'll be getting one. Despite what some people seem to think that the New 3DS will be like the DSi where it won't have that many new games, this is pretty much a new console and Nintendo is going to push it as such. They're going to create new content only playable on this device that they know a lot of the more gamer focused fans who own the original are going to want.
If they release a successor to the New 3DS that isn't an upgrade, then I won't get it. I'm buying the XL and that's going to be it until Nintendo announces their newest handheld hardware.
