Plus there is literally no must have excluisves out for the One IMO... (I blame MS for that). Titanfall wasn't even exclusive, and while it did push some units, it's nothing like Halo. I doubt FH2, or Sunset will do wonders in consoles sold as well. 

MCC, Destiny (it will drive up Xbox sales, just not as much as PS4 sales), and COD will do very well for One. 

I'm just saying Wii U has one of it's biggest IPs out (MK), with Smash on the horizon and even that, while it did give the U a nice bump, it's a little underwhelming IMO for Ninty's biggest IP. Although... I do think Wii U will do fairly well on it's own this Christmas as MK8 and Smash will be big hits and continue to sell on wards.

X1 is the safe bet, but it depends of how much PS4 will dominate once it first party pick up.

Let's wait for Destiny to come out. Watch Dogs market share on new-gen consoles was 70% on PS4 and 30% on X1. If X1 can hold or improve this, than it will win over Wii U. But if this number get worst, than Wii U has slightly more chance of a second place.

ps4, xbone go after the same audience which is much more bigger than Wii U's that doesnt have one except Nintendo fans.

The Wii U only needs to worry about the holidays, with the likes of third parties like cod selling massively.

Jan to Aug however, WiI U got that. Is it enough to have a bigger baseline?Possiblly. Nintendo needs at least 2-3 big heavy hitters in 2015 Holiday's to keep second. And no I don't think X 1 could outsell Wii U befor next e3.

The Xbox division's money-hatting days are numbered. If it continues to spill red ink into MS's books, I see MS going more towards promoting the PC as a gaming platform while extending the support for 360.

Bottom line: X1 is the least profitable offering in their gaming lineup. MS is much better off overall getting people to buy new 360 games and systems at retail, buy new PCs, and new versions of windows.

A race for second place right (that sound a little bit better). No matter how anyone slice or dice it, Nintendo already has second place.
