If they make this more casual and user friendly I will definitely consider buying this. DS is not my kind of game, so to have an option for a casual mode would be nice :)

STFU and go play Lost Odyssey or something as equally challenging as LO.

Oh, because fuck me for wanting options.

And nice shot at Lost Odyssey, so typical of you. xD

different difficulties to select will be best...

The interview sounds like they're trying to find a good balance between difficulty and approachability, let's see how it ends up, I never played a Souls game before so can't say much about it, but I think I wouldn't mind it being a little easier.

There are already too many easy games out there. I miss the good old days when video games actually challenged players. Now people like these 'movies that you play' games where you can beat them in your sleep. I think I'm slowly losing interest. Thanks to all of the powder puffs we can't have nice things

Boooooooooooo

Don't dare casualize my Souls games!

Start up a new game -> Normal Mode OR Casual Mode (separate and different)

I don't see the issue with giving more people a way to play. I do agree that the normal mode should be what the majoority of fans owuld want, but I honestly see no problem in offering a casual mode.

Yes, go casualize another game. We don't need your species to ruin whatever good things are left in gaming :(

FUCK YES!! The chances of me buying this now are stronger. This is shaping up to be awesome.

Hopefully they can find a good balance between modes to give people the challenge they want if they're used to Demon's and Dark Souls type difficulty while giving players who never were able to get into it an easier option. Will have to see, but I'll definitely give this game the benefit of the doubt.

In the demo there were two available. We had to play the hard mode as the "normal" mode caused the PS4 to constantly lock up

How about...

Start up a new game - Hard Mode or HARDER MODE

I like that route better.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
