Okay…do we have the numbers of the same quarter from 2013 for comparison? |
Might not be completely accurate because of the exchange rate but:
Operating loss: about $48 million
Net income: about $84 million (not a loss)

I think the same, it's Wii U last chance.

Nope, then you guys will just move on to Zelda, its a never-ending process.

Zelda wont do much. A boost for the week its released, but not much more...
Forecasts are a pipedream. 3DS isn't getting anywhere near 12m and if WiiU can only be u p 340k YOY this past Q (and last year was abysmal) then it's not going to be up much the following Q's.

"You guys"? Come on, there's no need for sweeping generalizations like this please.
Also, I think asking Amiibo and Zelda to reverse the Wii U's fortunes over, say, SSB is a bit rich. But one game can't do it anyway ofcourse. It requires a constant stream of titles which makes the system look like a solid long-term investment rather than just the "Mario Kart box" it is now. Don't see Amiibo being big enough to do anything and Zelda will come out too late regardless.
Similarly, yeah, that 3DS target is very optimistic. By that I mean effectively impossible to reach.

Yes, KLXVER and YoyOne.

Zelda U will be very hyped and probably sell better than games like Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask, but it won't help the WiiU too much!
