Not every european country is in the EU. Russia for instance.

What the fuck did I just read?

Norway is another European country which is not part of the European Union! #TheMoreYouKnow

I'm surprised nobody is talking about this (maybe people don't care enough) but what the heck is up with th european 3DS numbers and the adjustment? They must have adjusted the thing up by at least 200k in Europe and I don't see how that makes much sense.

I mean in 2014 the 3DS is down in the US, it's massively down in Japan but it's supposed to up in Europe (and not by a little if I might add)?

They just had to adjust the 3DS down by over a million a couple months ago and it's pretty obvious that vgchartz' european tracking is lacking the most, so I'll mark the adjustment and the european 3DS numbers as very doubtful for now.

Vgchartz numbers could very well be wrong but its not unheard of for different regions to have different peak years. For example, DS peaked in 2006 in Japan, 2008 in Europe and 2009 in America with the global peak being 2008. So just because America/Japan are down from last year doesnt necessarily mean it will be down in Europe as well.

This whole adjustment just comes very much out of the blue, which is why I find it so hard to believe. There were no news articles or anything suggesting that european 3DS sales are as strong in 2014 as Vgchartz is depicting them, that's why I'm really doubting this whole adjustment.

Also according to Vgchartz the 3DS is up 66% in the first half of 2014 in France compared to 2013... yeah, I don't believe that for a second.

I definitely see where ur coming from, this site hasnt been the most accurate as of late and those numbers do seem a bit fishy, I was just letting u know not all regions peak at the same time tho.

Meh Summer week, only Wii U HW and XB360 and Wii SW are a little up. Wii U could outsell XBOne weekly soon.

nice

So with NPD for last month putting PS4 so much ahead of X1 in USA by almost 15k a week... can we start seing the numbers being better or we will risk a 7th month this year with the wrong gap in favour of X1 to be them stealth corrected?

no dont think so it will continue through out the year i feel VGC is underestimating the effect that tlour destiny codaw and defiantly gta5r will have on ps4 HW

but as long as it gets corrected which might not even get correct with these little npd bumps then we'll have to wait for shipments im cool

when your under 70k in a month for just US you have to wonder how much your off for the rotw

Yep totally agree with you. It is sad that vgc is so lost, but since they will adjust when we get shipments I'm fine. Afterall their tracking doesn't affect real world sales. It was easy to adjust until april because Sony was telling the numbers religiously. Let's see how off vgc is when 10M is announced.
