My favourite game of all time is on Gamecube: Resident Evil 4.

Later, however, the Wii-make came along, which in my view is the definitive version.

Putting it that way, the PS4 is overrated, the 360 was overrated, the PS3 was overrated, the PS2 was overrated, the Xbox was overrated, the PS1 was overrated...

Innovation =/= greatness.

The Gamecube had a much more comfortable control set-up than every other Nintendo console with the exception of perhaps the Wii U, and had some of the best original  games (Metroid Prime/Prime 2, Pikmin, Sunshine, Symphonia Chronicles, etc.)

True. The graphics of the GC, the content of the PS2 and the great controls of the Wii.

The real letdown of the Gamecube was that it took franchises that were epic and awesome on N64, like Starfox, Zelda, and 3D Mario, and butchered them.

IDK, curl.. Zelda, Smash, Mario Kart, Metroid, Paper Mario and F-Zero were all pretty awesome on the GC!

The only Nintendo console i ever considered buying. Didn't actually do it though lol
