Super Smash Bros Melee, REmake, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Metroid Prime, Skies of Arcadia Legends, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Resident Evil 4 (original console release), The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess... Oh yeah, and it was the last Nintendo console whose 3rd party support was just as good as Sony and Microsoft.

Why again did everyone hate the Gamecube so much?

Obviously Wii. It will always be remembered as the casual fad waggle console that had no lasting influence on gaming. It will always be maligned by the majority of self described hard core gamers as full of casual shovelware and of course a SD relic in a HD world. But in reality it did some great things in amongst all that casual shovelware crap.

a lot of people love the N64 and Gamecube and even though they are in my top 3 Nintendo consoles i am gonna go for the Wii since i have never seen a console so divided on how people felt about it and besides the Wii had a some really great games that a lot of people seem to ignore

Oh boy, that's the million dollar question right there! I mean, I highly doubt the GC got all that hate due to the kiddy image..

Probably the Wii by most self-proclaimed core gamers, completely ignoring what the system stood for and what games it brought.

Otherwise the NES on here simply because it's too old now and not many people played it anymore. The SNES gets it's recognition though and the N64 for the most part as well, while I feel the GameCube is wrongfully praised nowadays. The WiiU is getting there, now that it's no longer the laughing stock of the generation.

Gamecube, it deserved those sales though due to a lack of third party content especially Gta which was hot at the time.
