No one here is arguing that a PC outperforms a PS4 on multi-plat games and on the tech side they have a lot more going on. The entire argument is that --performance difference aside, the 1st party PS4 games look astounding. I agree, Driveclub and The Order LOOKS better than any other games I've seen before. I know TECHNICALLY under the hood PC games destroy them, but graphical quality wise those two games look on another level. The Order looks like CGI, and Driveclub looks like real life at times. No other games have given me that feeling before, and I have a gaming PC, I realize that PC vastly outperforms a PS4, but PC doesn't have the best graphical quality games to outperform the PC on, which is the 1st party stuff.

I dunno. The future looks great on PS4 but I saw games at E3 for Xbox One that impressed just as much. They might not be as high in resolution but still looked great. So, "Another Level"? Maybe. But it still looks like the same game. Super NES vs Genesis in power, I'd say. As for PC, I just assume they provide a better experience but it's one of those situations where I don't care. I can afford a top of the line PC but I guess graphics just don't matter to me as much.

Oh yeah Driveclub looks fuckin awesome.  I'm just hopeful that UC4 is going to be off the charts, and Im annoyed that ND hasn't shown gameplay yet! Gah!

Secondly from a technical and performance level they aren't close, and there isn't a game on the PS4 that runs on a technical level equivalent to Watch Dogs Ultra currently.

 

At least 3/4 of the posts in this thread are either flaimbate, trying to get attention, trolling, or blatantly ignoring statistical facts. 

I've posted direct feed captures I myself have taken running in real time of the current best looking open world game Infamous Second Son and compared them with Watch Dogs on PC. I will post them again as basically I have heard zero logical rebuttal on these images because there is none.

Watch Dogs PC Ultra

 

The Watch Dogs screen are clearly, objectively better technically.

 

This isn't up for debate.

Watch Dogs is

1. Higher Resolution

2. Superior Anti Aliasing

3. Superior Geometry

4. Superior Texture size and complexity

5. Has more natural and realistic lighting.

 

And in these screens I'm giving Infamous the advantage of photo mode, which actually adds effects over the base game giving a superior image.

Its all well and good to say the PS4 has amazing looking games, because it does. Beautiful titles actually, but to say it outperforms a top end PC is flat out wrong and isn't up for debate.

The title is "...PS4 graphics are in another level!" when clearly they aren't. PC absolutely oblierates the consoles in graphics.

Also, even if you compare it to only the Xbox One, it's still not quite that ahead. They are very similar in terms of architecture, so most games will look almost identical in the end.

And this is coming from a PS4 owner, so don't call me a Sony-hater, please.
