Last week we had some big surprises: Big Wii dropoff - especially in America - and PS3 selling in America more than X360. Will this week everything back to normal? Or will this week show another anomalies in sales. Let us discuss our expectations for the numbers and the numbers themselves as they come in. I personally think, Wii sales will get bigger a little better, but not the same as before (as I think it get stockpiled for the Smash-release). Interesting how the PS3 in America will go. I'm not sure it's a trend or an off-week. So I'm very interested how PS3 vs. XBOX360 will be this week. Update: I post the actual numbers here, to see them on the top of the thread.

Wii - I see it being down in Japan to about 65 - 70k, up in America, but I don't even think god can predict how far, and then back down again in EU to around 90k.

360 - I think it is a given that Japan will be 3 - 5k, in America I see sales down a bit more due to low supply mabye aound 60 - 70k, and in others it seems to be pretty steady at 42 - 48k.

PS3 - Japan will be interesting this week it could be down even further to mabye 15k, America will be up greatly this week due to Blu-ray I would assume about 100 - 110k, and in others they just had UT3 plus Blu-ray, so I see 100 - 115k their.

Yes sometimes it is fun to throughout completly pointless numbers, but if you are right you can always say yeah, new it would be like that all along.

I completely agree. And your numbers may be good, we will see which boost the PS3 gets from the death of HD-DVD.

The preview for japan (http://vgchartz.com/news/news.php?id=869) shows normal sales. The only interesting point in my opinion, is how good Smash stays, last week 150K, this week 100K, that's not bad.

Wii - More supple in NA = More sales

360 - 40K in others, 70K in USA, 3 K in Japan = 113K

PS3 - 70K in others, 80K in USA, 17K in Japan = 167K

Amazon UK had Wii stock for a whole 3 days last week. This means that it either was not selling as much at it was or all the stock from the previous week US shortages arrived last week here... Very hard to predict methinks....

Worldwide sales predictions:

Wii: 250k

PS3: 165k

360: 130k

Wii will be above 400k WW this week. I think NA got major supply last week.

I would assume 360 numbers will be down, PS3 stable

Oh, I think others HW will be up(at least in UK) judging from the PAL charts of course Wii Did quite well.
