It always looked like it wasn't for classic Sonic fans, but I initially thought it could be an ok game if you ignore the Sonic license.

But it seems like it's a bad game in general.

What's not fair is when the people worship the genesis games like god, then criticise Lost World and now this game for being slower. That's just hypocritical!

I really tried hard not to have any expecations but I clearly failed because I'm still dissapointed. I expected a flop, but at least have the decency to flop at the gate rather than the day before the race starts.

You're talking about the Sonic fanbase here as well, you know? There's so many different opinions on Sonic that it just seems like people contradict their own opinions. It's actually just an illusion because each Sonic fan has its set of opinions but as a whole the fans can't really seem to find what they want together.

That being said, I think Lost World didn't have to be as slow as it is. We're not restricted to 16-bit hardware anymore. Now Sonic Boom gets bashing because it barely tries to be a fast Sonic game.

From the trailer I thought the game looked rather meh, but worst then Sonic 06? I don't know about that, I guess we'll see at launch.

They should've just made Sonic Colors into an HD remaster. It takes less effort and that seems to be what Sega is going for.

I honestly wouldn't doubt it. The game looks terrible. Sega really needs to chill it with Sonic for a while and make a couple new IPs or something.
