It is truly mystifying why they don't make a Wii u Pokémon RPG. It would print money. It's the strangest wasted opportunity in gaming history. It would be like McDonald's never offering fries with burgers, only available in happy meals in tiny portions.

Why? What can the franchise win being on a home console? Maybe in the past, when handheld technology was more limited one could want games like Stadium or the GC Pokémon games, but handhelds will get more powerfull and with better online. If you want a proper Pokemon spinoff in a home console, just wait for Pokken, or other future spinoffs.

Keep waiting. GameFreak is stubborn. You wont see a homeconsole Pokemon game unless a "Nintendo Fusion"-like console is created. Even then they'd probably still make it 2 versions. The closest thing to a full Pokemon console RPG was Colosseum and XD: GoD, they're decent but have a more depressed feeling than regular Pokemon games (In Coloaseum youre a former bad guy and is hinted to be dating the chic youre with, probably the most "mature" Pokemon game)

Yeah, the fact is GameFreak can get more mileage for less with handheld Pokemon games, heck the few times Pokemon has had console games like Stadium, Colosseum and XD, they didn't really do the numbers of just half of the normal dual portable releases.

Heck, I am almost certain the poor performance of Pokemon Battle Revolution on the Wii, along with more improvements in the main game due to stronger hardware, we are unlikely to ever see the console Pokemon game people have said they have wanted since the beginning short of Nintendo and Gamefreak backs being forced against the wall.

I don't think anyone else alive today refuses to play Pokemon... You may be the most lonely man on planet Earth... :(
