In 2014 people value Handhelds as an equal and not a lesser-than, port-only, quick cash grab console.
Are you going to stop buying Handheld Pokémon games or are you only going to complain about it?

Idk why Nintendo hasn't made a main Pokemon game for consoles, could be kind of cool. I've grown tired of the handheld games after Black/White, really quality games but it's basically the same thing over and over game.
Give me an interesting story or something!

Lmao, no they don't. The moment they put a real Pokemon game on consoles is the moment I stop caring about the handheld Pokemon games.
don't really understand why they haven't. I'm pretty sure there is a market for it... just a missed opportunity for Nintendo I guess...

Then, until that moment comes, stop buying Handheld Pokémon games. You are only supporting GameFreak's decision for making the core Pokémon games Handheld exclusive.

A console Pokémon game could easily fall into the same "over and over" cycle you describe. We'll first get a deep Handheld Pokémon game before any type of console exclusive one.
| Darwinianevolution said: Why? What can the franchise win being on a home console? Maybe in the past, when handheld technology was more limited one could want games like Stadium or the GC Pokémon games, but handhelds will get more powerfull and with better online. If you want a proper Pokemon spinoff in a home console, just wait for Pokken, or other future spinoffs. |
that is a little bit of pokemon in Unreal engine 3.
This would sell like hotcakes.

That's the stupidest line of thinking I've heard yet. I'm not going to stop myself from enjoying any Pokemon content just because Nintendo's too retarded to modernize and one insignifigant protest wouldn't make a difference when 12 million others will still buy the next game in it's first 8 months because they, too, are not that stupid.

Clearly making Pokémon games exclusive to Handhelds isn't as "retarded" as you think.
Your angst against Handhelds is quite ridiculous, truly. They are perfectly good consoles that have hundreds upon hundreds of reputable games. Frankly, it's quite traditional and silly for you to think the Handheld is what is holding the series back - it's not.
