I wish he told that to Yoshida & co. before they wasted all the time and money on project morpheus, time & money that would be far better utilized elsewhere.

I haven't seen anyone use that word outside of mathematics, and I do believe that you didn't quite do it right (?).

They said the same thing about local and online co-op and put it in when they feel like it. In other words they just do what they feel like. Not sure the Wii U has the power for VR anyways.

Its new. Its the talk of the town. Its gonna fail like 3D.

Sony put some effort into 3D on PS3. fail.
Nintendo put out best 3D option that didn't even require glasses. fail. (3D functionality is ignored in 3DS)

Nintendo tried VR and that failed. It was painful.
Sony will put some effort in VR with PS4. It will fail like 3D.

Nintendo won't do it again. MS may copy if remotely successful. It wont' be.
