Forums - Gaming - Will Dead Rising 3 come to PS4????

It most likely will. Lost Planet, a prime example of Capcom ''exclusivity'' made it over to PS3.

This is though, DR3 started off as a last gen game. Capcom probably got cold feet during the development and hoped for either MS or Sony to chip in. MS took the bait and get it exclusive. I think it will end up on the PS4 in a year or so.

Yeah, sure. Glad you answered your own question.

The best selling X1 game launched with a PC port. That shows the impact of PC ports.

The best selling PS4 game launched on every other relevant platform. Doesn't seem to have a negative impact on PS4 sales.

What are you talking about?

The PS4 doesn't need exclusives right now, it doesn't even need games right now tbh.

The XB1 is in desperate need of exclusives cause unless the Wii U has a port it will 90% of the time have the worst version of a next gen multiplat. TitanFall failed to win the NPD for March, maybe if it was exclusive it would have sold better.

I am not talking about software sales, I'm talking about hardware sales. Exclusives especially, the point is to move hw not just sell a lot of copies.

Its starting to look like

Honestly, would anyone really care?

Other than to use this as a point to support the whole "all MS exclusives are timed anyway" theory.

New IPs will be found on Microsofts console, but not comparabe by a longshot with Sony when it comes to internal dependability.

Even Killer Instinct shall not be touched by MS first party. At this rate I am not even mad about that any longer.

Fine, MS may not create as many new IPs as Sony. Why does it matter? Having a preference for Sony because of new IPs if fine. The disdain you show for MS for apparently doing less than Sony stupid.

For example, I don't care if Activision makes less new IPs than EA. I just enjoy what both offer. That's what a normal healthy human being should do. I just ignore the shit I don't care for.

Seriously? You're bothered that Killer Instinct wasn't handled by a 1st party? Tell me something... who developed Playstation Battle Royale?

Killer Instinct is great and I play it pretty regularly. I have no complaints about putting it in the hands of a 3rd party.

The only way Dead Rising 3 will ever come to the PS4 is if Sony publishes it. As for Titanfall, people might as well wait for part two for the better game. Titanfall in retrospect wasn't worth all of the hype.

I thought you were having a ball playing the game, got boring fast?

Yeah, Microsofts maniupulative tactics to make people believe they have true exclusives is wearing thin at this point. Their two best games of the launch weren't even exclusive. Titanfall was fun, but it was bare bones in the long run and was in desperate need of a proper campaign. Because of this I have a sneaking feeling that COD Advanced Warfare's multiplayer showing at E3 is going to be intense. Everytime people say COD will die theres always another COD with a different theme that finds a new crowd. Activision is smart.

You really have an issue with them man to talk shit like that... Esp. knowing that all companies are doing the same thing (including Sony).

If we listen to you everything Microsoft is doing is either manipulative, desperate or evil. Even if all other players are doing the same exact thing (it is called: business).

The XB1 problem isn't exclusives, its price. Sony took a beating last gen because of price.

If you want to play Titanfall on console, just buy an Xbox One. It will not come to PS4.
Dead Rising 3 is published by Microsoft and they certainly have exclusivity rights so I doubt it too.

The point is to be profitable first... So far the only people thinking that Microsoft is desperate (instead of adjusting their strategy to make more money) are Sony enthousiats... Even Microsoft shareholders do not have ANY problem with Xbox One performance, which while not being as good as PS4, is already very good.

Some people want their console/company to have success (which is understandable) while others are just hoping for the opposing console/company to fail (which is so weird...). And while those people are hoping so much, they totally forget that having one console selling better than the other does not equal a fail for the second :)

You are free to believe whatever you want, reality is certain however.

I mean look what price did here:

If I recall correctly, the 360 was never more expensive than the PS3.

The profitability of HW is the priority, HW is profitable when more SW is sold on the system for the system. SW profitability is a secondary concern, especially as MS is the publisher not the developer.

Even Microsoft shareholders do not have ANY problem with Xbox One performance, which while not being as good as PS4, is already very good.

Do you truly believe that?

You are entitled to ignore the writing on the wall. But if I wanted the Xbox to fail, I would be encouraging their bad ideas, instead I'm pointing out why these ideas are bad and what should be done instead. I've done the same with Nintendo and Sony. Keep your hasty generalizations to yourself.

Desperate need =/= Desperation
Producing a Console is more of an investment then producing a game, so it makes more sense to prioritize HW over SW, anything else is lack of faith, either by MS themselves or the 3rd parties who were originally exclusive to their platforms but later published on other ones.
