As much as I wish to see Dead Rising 3 on the PS4, I just can't see it. Not only it's XO exclusive, but a launch exclusive. If it were released for PS4, what would be the point to get an Xbox One? Microsoft won't allow the game to be published to another console. Maybe 4 years from now, but not this early. Maybe not ever. I might plan to get it on PC if it really gets released there.

Alot of the new ideas at Sony came from 3rd party studios they eventually bought. Several exclusive IPs on PS4 are going to come from 3rd parties, while their 1st parties will primarily work on existing IPs.
That's news to me. Creating critically acclaimed games from exisiting IPs means MS sitting on their ass. I guess funding new IPs isn't worth much either?

Who forced MS to put Forza Horizon 2 on the 360? Who forced MS to put Fable Anniversary on PC?
I think MS is fine with putting games on Windows and 360. Its certainly not a deal breaker.

If you read the rest of my post I explain why its stupid. Porting an XB1 game to the 360, can be construed as continuing support for the 360, but thats only pushing the XB1 in an indirect way, increasing theoretical sales by giving 360 "support" instead of actually directly increasing the value of the XB1. Looks like a bit of lost faith to me.
Furthermore WIndows =/= Xbox. For all intents and purposes Windows == PC. If you have a PC and PS4, what reason is there to buy a XB1 save for Forza, Halo, and Gears?

This logic ignores the games that never got ported.
Valve loves Sony yet they never bothered to port L4D. That was a lot of potential money left on the table.

The best selling X1 game launched with a PC port. That shows the impact of PC ports.
The best selling PS4 game launched on every other relevant platform. Doesn't seem to have a negative impact on PS4 sales.

You can now buy the game on one of 2 Microsoft platforms. As a person with a pretty good gaming laptop I will buy the game for X1 because I would rather own a copy than buy a digital license.
I dont think it will come to PS4 only because Im pretty sure MS is a publisher of the game, but I thought that was the case with Mass Effect as well.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I've already mentioned Mass Effect and Bioshock when quoting this, but with what's bolded I was thinking PS360 so didn't reply. I don't know what fantasy world you're living in, but multiconsole titles, including Watch Dogs are selling much better on the PS4.

Destiny will sell well but wont sell near cod numbers. Can you even think of another ip that bungie has made outside of halo since ms took them from development for apple?
