Bolded bit. What does that even mean? MGS4 is coming out before Gears2, and will certainly be amazing. I am not saying MGS4 will be better than Gears2, I just don't understand what that sentence means.

I'd have to say Mario Galaxy. That's just a beautiful work of art right there.
Second place would be hard, I'd have to say either portal (brilliant design) or bioshock (just plain high quality).

I don't really count orange box as a game, because it's actually 5 games in one box. At best it's 3 games if you put all of half life 2 and episodes together. Maybe the best value right now, but I wouldn't say best game since it's not just one game.
