NOOOOOOOO!!!

Bayo does not belong in Smash. She's a third party character who has no prior history with Nintendo and will have been on only one Nintendo console. She doesn't have the credentials.

Snake was only twice prior to Brawl though, through a remake and a spinoff on GB not many people remember, Bayo at least has her sequel coming out as an exclusive funded by Nintendo. I don't think Bayonetta will ever be playable in some way in Smash Bros. due to how she'd likely end up upping the rating though. I don't think we'll have someone as realistic as Snake in a Smash game again to be honest, still, I'd have her in any day over Pac-Man

Snake didn't belong in Smash either. This isn't PS All-Stars.

I can agree he was out of place, but it doesn't mean Bayonetta would be any worse in terms of character design at least (the bodysuit itself isn't really any worse that ZSS). Still, I highly doubt she'll be in, and honestly, I don't care much if she does, I love the game, but the character itself...meh

so he is promoting clones

/fail

I'd rather have "clones", than characters with shitty but diversified movesets, ala ganondorf/falco/etc...

Dude if Solid Snake can be a playable character in Smash, who had no history other than his series being on the original NES and a port of MGS on the GameCube, than surely a character from an IP that Nintendo now funds and publishes can be a playable character in the series.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Snake shouldn't have been in Smash either.

Why not?  So no 3rd party characters that Nintendo fans might also be fans of like Sonic and Mega Man should never be featured in a Nintendo game?

I don't know about you but how many times can we see the usual Nintendo cast in yet another SSB or MK game before it starts getting stale?

Sonic and Mega Man are fine. They have deep seeded roots and connections with Nintendo. Same with Pacman. Baynetta does not. Snake does not. And Nintendo has enough first party characters to last a century without it getting stale.
