If there's a third HoT game, it'll be on the 3DS. Because that's where all the assets, the engine, and the installed base for the first two HoT3D games will be by then.

If they do make it for the 3DS I hope they don't use the same engine as they had for OoT3D. OoT3D was a nice enhanced port, but it really didn't push the 3DS to its limits nor did it take advantage of what the 3DS has to offer. The 3DS seems comparable, more or less, to the Gamecube/Wii in terms of hardware (in some ways better, in others worse) so  we should see games that take advantage of this hardware. I'd like TP level graphics, since TP looks quite nice when one plays  on a smaller screen or at a higher resolution (through Dolphin), because there are no longer jaggies and on a smaller screen the blurry textures are less noticeable. MM with TP graphics would be quite nice, in my opinion.

It wouldn't look like TP. Those are two completely different artsyles, dude. It would make zero sence.

I would love to see a sequel as I think that world has plenty more to explore. I hope that it would be truly 3-d though in terms of perspective. I always feel that if its 3-d it should be 3-d, if it is 2-d it should be 2-d.

It would be 3D just like OoT3D is. The first original handheld 3D Zelda game.

And that's why I think there wont be a MM sequel to begin with!

I'm not saying there definitely will. I'm saying that all signs point to it being on the 3DS if it's done in the near future. I'd love it to be on 3DS though because it would just fit.

I will buy every Zelda game they make for the Wii U! Zelda on the 3DS does not excite me much.....

You're missing out on A Link Between Worlds then! It's not a 10/10, but It's still pretty darn good!

lol, 3DS resolution is to low. I cant enjoy it, would rather upscale older games.

Wind Waker HD looks amazing on Wii U

Ocarina of time 3DS.... well it looks 10% better than the N64 version

I really want another Zelda on the Wii U.....

Don't worry, It'll happen.

As for the low res, you have no excuse when there's a 3DS emulator that can upscale to 1080p!

But only 10% better? The N64 isn't HD just like the 3DS. More polygons alone makes it at least 50% better.

I'd like a re-release of the original first!

The Nintendo 3DS has a 1 GHz GPU underclock at 400 MHz according to Nintendo.

Has way more better textures & shader abilities then the Wii according to 3rd Party Devs. (High Voltage)

Has similar graphics to PS Vita according to 3rd Party Devs. (Warner Bros.)

Can do 5 times more open world then Lego City Undercover according to 3rd Party Devs. (Lego)

This is what Zelda on the 3DS will look like:

...No.

It would look like OoT3D, which is fine. OoT3D looks beautiful.

@Nintentacle

That would be fine if not for the touch screen on the 3DS.
