They probably thought that young children wouldn't understand the creepy, so they thought I'd be okay for everyone.

I hate when people say this. There's nothing in MM that's inappropriate for children. Just because a game is tonally dark doesn't mean it's a T game. MM is very much an E/E10 game.

Even Aonuma basically promise MM3D on the 3DS, but "only after an original Zelda is released for the 3DS." That title was ALBW. He explicitely mentioned both MM and the 3DS.
