I appreciate that Microsoft are bringing the console closer to the PS4 with similar focuses and policies, but for me it'll never exceed it. I already have a PS4 and the consoles are so similar to begin with, so until the price drastically lowers or that one must have game comes out, it's a no from me.

Yes definitely. But I was always considering getting it to play Halo. Maybe now I will get it before the ps4 or I won't even bother getting the ps4 at all.

Ok let's be real. It's slightly weaker in that it can't do 1080p/60 fps standard on games that PS4 can. Ok. Poly counts gaps? Nearly indistinguishable. Every other way.........MS literally corrected all major cons. Weaker specs is all that remains now.

I can see why you would think nobody would want one. Games? Killer Instinct, a solid, exclusive fighter this early in the gen? Dead Rising 3, taking advantage of the zombie craze still in full swing? Forza 5, MS's sim that even at its worst, is still on par with PD's best (metacritic scores near identical). Titanfall....a multiplat not available on PS4, making waves in the genre and literalyl given away for free as a solid differentiator for Xbox.

None of the games I'm interested in require a X1, until I see gameplay of Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Braek or w.e the only game I would purchase the system for is Halo 5, that is if someone in my Dorm doesn't buy it before I do.

The Xbox One is still a no for me. I already have a PS4 to compliment my PC. I don't really want to pay for both PS+ and Xbox Live, which is a problem since most Xbox exclusive seem very multiplayer focused. Maybe if Xbox starts hitting it out of the park with the Games with Gold I will reconsider but till then a WiiU is probably my next purchase.

Fair enough. The principle that ones loyalty to one brand prevents the purchase of the biggest competition, by default. No exceptions.

Nintendo isn't part of the X1/PS4 picture so its ok for us to buy a 3ds or a WiiU as a side purchase.

360's multiplat advantage was not a big deal either. These are really petty things us forum warriors are fighting over. These are not big deals in the grand scheme.

I am hellz bias, but at least I know the strengths of the competition and am not blind to its strengths. The worst PS fans I encounter are ones that see no merit in the Xbox brand, which is just false.

MLG is not a big deal? Why wouldn't Multiplat advantage be a big deal? Assuming reviewers aren't in the pockets of either companies, PS4 will get better metacritics on its multiplats compared to the XB1, its games will be higher rated, more recommended, assuming recommenders aren't shills, and PS4 will have more word of mouth to the average consumer. 

Not to mention, more people on PS4 means a greater likelyhood of playing with your friends, and the consoles popularity is a lot more powerful then a simple price cut.
