Meh... blowing you off is just easier than looking up the articles.

I know the complaints by indie developers, I know developers have complimented MS for staying out the way, so take my word for it. Or go look for it yourself. Your choice.

Safe bet the complaints will be easier to find, because that's just more interesting. You're smart enough to know that.

Have people forgotten how crap Insomniac are now? R2 was fun, but outside of that, that haven't made a decent game in years. Not sure if hype.

Lets hope it turns out better than fuse lol

Fuse was a really lackluster FPS, so Sunset Overdrive has very high chances of being better!

Sounds like this is an offline version of the standard game. That would be great, but the thread title suggested a seperate/different single player story mode.

The entire campaign/story is single player only. There are different game modes for coop and whatever other multiplayer they got

Lets hope Insomniac gets a hit. I know MS will give them less creative control than Sony, so they are pretty much on their own. They deserve to get a hit after so many years of trial and error. If they fail I hate to say it but thats what MS gettings for picking up Sonys table scraps when they couldnt read the writing on the wall. I love the look of the game so heres hoping we see some positive results at E3. Fuse was a letdown even though the CG for it was great.

From my recollection, developers have said MS is easy to work with because they stay out of the way. So... we'll just have to wait and see what Insomniac says.

Sony should have stuck with those table scraps. They could have produced a decent Resistance for the Vita.

Sony doesn't control insomniac. They never did, but Insomniac never met Sony standards so Sony never offered to purchase them. They've always been close second party to Sony and still are, but they are trying to make more money for their company by branching out. It hasn't exactly helped but rather hurt them. I am hoping this game is a hit for their sakes because a lot of companies are going to probably go down this generation. Insomniac had Sony as a faithful publisher for over a decade, so hopefully they find one in Microsoft because they will need the backing to stay alive. They've got some really creative ideas that for some odd reason never commercially catch on.
