I'm glad we have Shy Guy, but what about a Snippet? Or Petey Piranha? Or a Paratrooper? ..Baby Rosalina too please? The lack of Boo bothers me as well.

I think 30 is a good number. Just a pity 1/4 of them are those annoying koopa kid things.

30 characters?!! Oh no!! Time to add totally necessary characters like Baby Wario and Wiggler!

They can't keep expanding the roster forever, and 30 is more than enough for me. Hopefully they will settle with that number.

With that said, yes, the confirmed list is horrible. The Koopalings, baby characters and Metal Mario are all awful. But with this list in mind, Bowser Jr. and the "Dry" characters (both of which were bad to begin with) shouldn't be considered for the last three spots. Bowser Jr. appearing seems very likely though since one question mark is right after the Koopas. The last two spots probably belong to Birdo and Diddy Kong, but neither would be a big loss. If they have one or two interesting newcomers in their place, I'd welcome them.

I see no problem with "only" 30 characters...Its not like they all have unique movesets like in Smash Bros or anything so I really don't see why people care this much. Also, counting the Koopalings as 1 character, you still have 24 which is the same as in MKWii.

EDIT: I would also like to say that the presentation in this game (the menus and such) is leagues above that of MKWii. The menus were so robotic and lifeless, now it all feels like Mario Kart should

30 is already plenty, we don't need all of Bowser's Kids as characters and I'd rather just see alternate skins (like Skeleton Bowser).
