I actually think Homefront was better then Ghosts.. would have loved to see a more occupied US and a broken guerilla war then this specialist team who are doing exactly the same stuff in the other CoDs... the Federation stuff was so... unused..

I found the lack of explanation as to why Federation even occupied the US and presumably nuked the rest of the world disturbing. I mean come on, give me some context here if you really want me to care about what these characters we are fighting for.

Plus the ending...clear sequel bating. This is something both Homefront and Ghosts are culprits of.

This was the first COD I skipped since COD3... but now you make me want to buy it....

I play COD for multiplayer. I consider Ghosts to be less than half the game of Blops2. A big let down in almost every aspect.

The inference is simply that the Federation expanded much like Germany in WW2, absorbing countries as it went. The US would be seen as a threat to them, particularly with the whole orbital weapons platform.

I bet there are a lot of casuals who love it...so no, you aren't the only one.
